PERFORMANCE DOG OF THE YEAR AWARD
This Trophy was donated by Rosslyn Rothwell (Keftiu) in an endeavour to encourage owners of all Samoyeds to participate in and enjoy all forms of dog sports, promote the working ability and versatility of the Samoyed, recognize the performance of outstanding Samoyeds in competitive events and encourage the development of the Samoyeds working ability to its highest level.
Points can be scored anywhere in Australia but owners of dogs must be members in good standing of the NSW Samoyed Club Inc. The Competition runs from 1st July to the 30th June each year. Results should be lodged in writing to the pointscore steward by 31st July for the preceding year. Points can be accumulated in as many different dog sports as you like. Qualifying cards should be presented for verification at the end of the year for the winning dog. As further dog sports become recognized by the ANKC they will be added to this competition.
There will be a Perpetual Trophy made available for the winner this cannot leave NSW.
